[討論] 為什麼歐洲車都比較重?

以VOLVO S80為例, 其重量硬是比同級的日本高級車(LEXUS,  INFINITI)要重上2~3百公斤
, 而碰撞測試的結果, 日本高級車也不見得比VOLVO差。那麼, 這可以說是因為日本在打
造車輛安全結構這方面的技術比VOLVO(或其它歐洲車廠)先進嗎?

另外, 車重與安全性一般而言是否正相關?
