〔大陸新聞中心／綜合報導〕以前的空姐招聘條件很嚴格，據當時《申報》記載歐亞航空公司（中央航空公司的前身）1937年首次招聘空姐的條件是：年齡20—25歲之間、體貌端正、身高150公分—170公分之間、體重40—59公斤，能講國語、粵語、英語，並能讀寫中英文字。由於條件的限制，直到1938年1月才有了6名合格的空中小姐。
